The Interlink program is run from Kallista Community House and provides planned activities for adults with
Intellectual disabilities.
Group members have enjoyed a full and varied year, with many interesting activities and outings.
|
Activities
Each term is based around a theme. Some of the highlights from this year have been a trip to Moorabbin Airport
to watch the planes and helicopters take off, a boat trip down the Yarra River, an outing to the fire Station
and a visit to Puffing Billy for our theme of planes, trains and automobiles.
For the theme of multiculturalism we made Pasta and ate it and enjoyed an outing to a Chinese Restaurant.
|
Association
The group has continued our association with Kallista Primary School and performed at a special concert put on for our group this winter.
We have also been invited by the school
to join in with the students in a Drum making workshop.
