Expressions of interest are now being taken for a 7 week comprehensive Diabetes education and information program.

The program is suitable for adults with existing or newly diagnosed Type II Diabetes.

Expressions of interest are invited for our program

"Feeling Good About Yourself - Self Esteem for Women"

This 8 week group is targeted at women who have low self esteem and who are motivated to explore and learn skills and strategies to improve this.

Topics include: Identifying personal strengths, developing assertiveness, stress management, decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution, goal setting, self care. The learning activities are largely creative arts based.

A course for people with chronic aimed to promote the participants confidence, skills and ability to manage their health on a day to day basis.

FINDING ME - BEING FREE

A 9 week group for women who have experienced past or current issues of family violence / abuse in their relationships.

Topics include:
* finding your strengths
* power and control issues
* finding equality in relationships and more

No Interest Loan Scheme

Available for the purchase of new: White Goods (Washing Machines/ Fridges, etc) Furniture, Beds & Bedding, Computers, School Supplies, Glasses, Medical Appliances, Repairs and Maintenance etc

The scheme provides funds for loans to families and individuals on low incomes living in the Shire (min 6 months). No interest is payable on the loans and repayments are fortnightly.

Belgrave Opportunity Shop

Belgrave Opportunity Shop is part of Ranges CHS. Contributions or volunteer staff are gratefully accepted. Funds raised go towards additional equipment and services.

For anyone that knows Belgrave well, the Belgrave Opportunity Shop is located near the roundabout and in between The Old Bakehouse Cafe and the Belgrave Newsagency at 1708 Burwood Hwy, Belgrave.

The Belgrave Opportunity Shop is appreciative of any donations. Donations may include items such as clothing, kitchenware, books, electrical products (in working order please), manchester, furniture, games - basically anything that you no longer need or want that someone else may be able to benefit from.

For people caring for a loved one or friend who has a disability, chronic illness or is frail aged.

Many members care for someone with dementia.

The group provides an opportunity for carers to meet and share experiences and leanr about topics related to their caring role.
