Ranges CHS Tertiary Health Scholarship 2009
12th January 2009

Ranges Community Health Service Inc. -
creating a healthier community in more ways than one...

Ranges Community Health service is investing in the local community by giving residents the opportunity to apply for one of two $3,000 Tertiary Health Scholarships.

The scholarships have been made available through funds raised by the Ranges Opportunity Shop and funds received from the closure of the Lilydale Health Service.
This is a prime example of Ranges Community Health Service re-investing into our community health's future and enhancing capacity within the community.

Following the application close date of 23rd January 2009, it is envisaged that interviews will take place on the 5th February, 2009 at our Lilydale site and the Scholarships will be awarded late February.

Candidates will be selected and awarded the scholarships by a Scholarship committee, primarily made up of community members from across the Shire as well as Ranges CHS Board of Governance members.

An Award ceremony will be held at the end of February where there will be the official announcement of winners, presentation of cheques, a brief response from the winners, afternoon tea and photo opportunities.

Payment of the award will be made in two equal part payment amounts. The first payment will be made in February and the second payment in August (subject to evidence of satisfactory progress).

GOOD LUCK with your application!
