The Intake Service aims to connect people with the community health services they need to promote good health. Some treatment services may require a current Health
Care or Pensioner Concession Card.
Contact with the Intake Service is needed to access the following Ranges
services:
1. Adult services
* Counselling
* Occupational Therapy
* Podiatry
* Physiotherapy
* Community Health Nursing
* Dietetics
* No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS)
* Lymphoedema
* Social Support
2. Childrens services
* Speech Pathology (preschool)
* Paediatric Occupational Therapy
* Counselling
3. Groups
* Exercise groups eg Older but Stronger and Water Exercise
* Other therapeutic groups
Accessing Services at Ranges Community Health Service
All new referrals to health practitioners at the Community Health Service will be discussed with an Intake Worker first. The Intake Worker can help with information about services available, eligibility, costs, waiting times and alternative services where appropriate.
Information about Health Issues
The Intake Service has up- to-date health resources and information that is available to all local residents and other community agencies.
Referral to Other Agencies
Information is available through Intake about other community services in our region as well as central health and welfare services. The Intake Worker can assist residents to contact other agencies when needed

Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 4.00pm

if the Intake Worker is unavailable.
